Evaluations
“Wow!” was my first impression after meeting Alexandra and her family. Alex is a versatile player and a great right-handed batter. She can hit for power or lay down a bunt with speed down the line. Accompanied with a 2.1 pop and a 61 MPH overhand throw, she is reliable both behind and in front of the plate. She can play any infield position, although she specializes at shortstop.
Alex is a kind-hearted young lady who volunteers in her sport and others, and she works each season to make Christmas hampers in her community. The most impressive thing about Alex is her academic strengths – she has a 4.1 GPA while taking senior-level courses in her junior year.
— Susan Kemper, ScoutU Softball Scout, Susan@ScoutU.com, 604-808-5215
Alex has been a huge part of our team’s successes over the last five years. A natural leader, Alex is not afraid to take charge, ask questions and share strategies. She goes above and beyond to make sure the team is prepared for games. She is very hardworking and dedicated to her role, both at practice and on her own time. On the field, Alex brings a powerful bat, and an impressive glove both behind the plate and as an infielder. Overall, coaching her feels effortless as she is always looking for feedback or ways to improve her game physically and mentally.
— Rececca Dafoe, Cloverdale Fury Coach
Alex is the team’s quarterback when she is behind the plate. She is a brick wall and a great blocker. A well-rounded athlete on both sides of the ball.
