Evaluations

Lindsey Kroening is a dedicated 2027 recruit from Cedarburg, WI. She put together a tremendous sophomore season that included a 77 scoring average, All-State 1st-Team honors and her second straight Conference Player of the Year award.   Lindsey has an immediate edge over competitors with her 250-yard distance off the tee. Her ball striking is also reliable with 70% fairway accuracy and 65% greens in regulation. She believes she can shave a few more strokes off her average with improved putting.   Obsessed with golf, Lindsey thrives on competition and developing her game. She’s been working with instructor Kevin Kramp for almost a decade, trying to make her swing as repeatable as possible. Lindsey is also an excellent student (4.2 GPA) and remains involved year-round as the manager for her school’s boys golf team. — Jon Feyen, ScoutU Golf Scout, Jon@ScoutU.com, 920-979-3093

Message from Lindsey

My name is Lindsey Kroening, and I’m a 2027 golfer from Cedarburg High School in Wisconsin. I hold a 4.26 cumulative GPA and I plan to go into a business major. I’ve been on High Honor Roll each grading period so far in my high school career. In my golf game, my strengths are my short game and my overall power (250 yards). I have a scoring average of 76.9. I earned the title of North Shore Conference Player of the Year for both my freshman and sophomore year, as well as being named 1st-Team All-State this year.   As a golfer, I strive to become a better physical and mental player. I work on my game every day and compete in many different tournaments. These tournaments give me great experience with other golfers in a competitive setting. During the off-season, I set time aside for practice every day either in my simulator, in the gym or with my coaches. My work ethic and my attitude make me stand out from other golfers. I always give my best effort on and off the course and put my best game forward. I love to see myself improve, both mentally and physically. I improved my overall standing in the state from 56th to the 8th position (76.9) from freshman to sophomore year. I was also ranked 5th in the state for most pars, with 133 pars in 24 rounds.   Off the course, I seek to give my best work in the classroom and in my community. In school, I am taking two honors courses and an AP class. My school is very academically driven, and I aim to excel in all aspects of my schooling. Outside of school, I am in my church’s handbell choir and also actively involved in my county’s 4-H program. In this program, I’ve taken many leadership roles, including leading the Ozaukee County Leaders Association Meetings. I love to make an impact in my community and county, and these positions have helped shape my character and increase my confidence.   I dream of playing golf in college, and I appreciate your time visiting my profile. I hope we can talk in the future!
