Evaluations

6-6 and 209 pounds, Micah Lantzke is a high-IQ, stocky combo guard. Micah has the ability to score the basketball with ease and stretch the floor beyond the arc. He has great leadership and is well-respected by his peers. I coached Micah in Australia, and he’s an unbelievably high-character kid.   Micah is deadly to defenders as he can shoot from all over. He is a natural at handling the basketball, keeping it secure and using his dribbles efficiently to get past defenders and make plays for his teammates or himself. Micah sees the floor well and makes great decisions on the fly. He also rebounds at a high level, rising above the rim to snatch the ball out of the air.   Micah is currently working on his agility and explosiveness. He is doing a great job preparing himself for the next level. The Bunbury, Western Australia native boasts a 3.4 GPA and will be a great pickup for whoever can lock him in! — Wes Morgan, ScoutU Basketball Scout, WesM@ScoutU.com, +61 475-066-884 (on WhatsApp)

Message from Micah

My name is Micah Lantzke, and I’m a 2027 prospect from Manea Senior College in Bunbury, Western Australia. Standing 6-foot-6 and 209 pounds, my physical stature naturally positions me as a center on the basketball court, though I am transitioning into the roles of small forward and shooting guard as I continue to grow. I am a part of the 2025 Foot Locker U18 Australian National Championship, representing WA country. From 2018-24, I earned Juniors Team MVP. I average 24 points per game and also hold a 3.4 GPA academically.   As a basketball athlete, my versatility sets me apart on the court. Whether I’m in the paint or on the perimeter with 3-point shots, I bring adaptability and skill to any position. However, what truly distinguishes me is my work ethic. Most mornings, I get up at 6 am to spend an hour working on my weaknesses before school. After classes, I go to team training where I constantly strive to improve my skills. I’m a leader on and off the court, getting to know my teammates and coaches, creating a family-like environment.   Balancing my athletic pursuits with academic excellence, I’m pursuing my ATAR and pushing myself to excel in school as well. I frequently help my family around our acre block to acknowledge and give back for all their support towards me. Moreover, my coach noted that I am exceptionally coachable and possess the ability to relate well with my teammates. My approach to drills reflects my willingness to learn and adapt, further enhancing my effectiveness on and off the court.   Thank you for spending your time viewing my profile. I hope we discuss soon how I can be a valuable addition to your team.
