Evaluations

Nina Lang is one of Wisconsin’s top golfers in the 2026 class. During her junior season, she won both the WIAA Regional (74) and Sectional (76) before posting a top-25 finish at State. Nina led Arrowhead to a fourth-place team finish at the WIAA Championship.   After averaging in the 90s during summer 2023, Nina has made huge strides. Her 2024 slate included a 77 at the WPGA Jr. Championship and 79 at an AJGA Qualifier. Nina has been working with a swing coach for many years and frequently practices on her simulator at home. Her short game and course management allow her to consistently deliver high 70s/low 80s for the team. Nina is working hard to add more distance off the tee, where she currently averages 225 yards.   Nina cannot imagine her college experience without golf. She’s open to any opportunity where there’s a great academic experience and team environment. Nina holds a 3.6 GPA in the classroom while taking AP Psychology. — Jon Feyen, ScoutU Golf Scout, Jon@ScoutU.com, 920-979-3093

Message from Nina

My name is Nina Lang, and I am a 2026 from Arrowhead High School in Hartland, Wisconsin. In the classroom, I hold a 3.6 GPA. During my junior season I was named Classic 8 Co-Player of the Year, won our WIAA Regional (74) and Sectional (76), and made 2nd-Team All-State. I scored a personal-best 70 (-2) at the Mukwonago Invitational.   Growing up I was a multi-sport athlete playing golf, softball, volleyball and competitive dance. I enjoyed all these sports in my youth and value the skills, relationships and competitive edge they have provided me. I began focusing on golf my freshman year and made the All-Conference 3rd Team. Arrowhead H.S. was full of experienced upperclassmen, and seeing my potential through them motivated me. It created a desire to get better and ultimately helped me recognize that my passion for golf was more important than my other sports. I started setting goals and pushing myself every day, which has shaped me into the best person, golfer and student I can be. Throughout the past 3 years I’ve worked non-stop with my swing coach, athletic trainer, and mental-strength coach so I can achieve my dream of playing college golf.   I am dedicated to getting better and improving my golf game, my mental game, and in the classroom. This dedication has taught me the importance of time management. I plan out time on the course, the range, putting green, chipping green, lifting and schoolwork all on my calendar! My athletic and academic accomplishments have only made my work ethic stronger. Outside of the school season, I will continue to improve my game. This offseason my training includes lifting 4 days a week, practicing on the golf course or hitting in my simulator, and taking lessons with my swing coach as well as competing in monthly tournaments.   Thank you for taking your time to visit my profile. I look forward to discussing with you why I feel I am a great candidate to join your program.
